CBU Athletic Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2016

MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Athletic Hall of Fame announces its Class of 2016, featuring three inductees. This year's induction banquet is set for Friday, April 8 at 6 p.m. in Sabbatini Lounge in the Thomas Center. Tickets are $45 each, and a table of eight is $360. | Printable Registration Form |

Kevin McArthy starred in basketball from 1983 to 1985. In 71 games, he scored 1,037 points with 184 rebounds, 140 assists and 76 steals. He shot 57.2 percent from the field, which ranks sixth in school history, and his 14.6 points per game are good for 16th in school history. As a senior, he was the leading scorer on CBU's VSAC Champion team which went 25-10. In his two years, the Bucs went 46-25 and reached the VSAC finals both seasons.

Zac Scott starred in baseball from 1998 to 2001. He hit .375 with 235 hits, 33 home runs and 167 RBI. Scott holds school records for career RBI and total bases, and he ranks second in school history in career home runs and batting average. A two-time Academic All-GSC selection, Scott earned Gulf South Conference West Division Player of the Year honors in 2000, becoming the first CBU student-athlete in any sport to win a GSC Player of the Year award.

Tim Stock starred in basketball from 1985 to 1988. In 101 games, he scored 1,808 points, and in the first two years of the three-point shot, he set records that have not been threatened in nearly 30 years since. As a junior, he made 144 three-pointers, and he followed with 147 triples as a senior, setting school single-season records with 738 points and 22.4 points per game. For his career, Stock holds school records for three-pointers and three-point percentage. He ranks second in career points per game, and he is fifth in career scoring.
