Canale Arena

Canale Arena is the home of CBU basketball and volleyball. The arena also contains locker rooms, an indoor golf practice facility, a weight room, a training room, and offices for the CBU athletics staff.

De La Salle Hall was built in 1950. When it opened, it was the largest indoor arena in Memphis. After more than half a century of use, Canale Arena was fully renovated in 2004. Its wooden bleachers were replaced with stadium-style seating, and a new lobby and concession stand, the Canale Cafe, was constructed as well as a hospitality suite, restrooms and new offices. In 2022, the Canale Arena floor was dedicated to former Director of Athletics, Men's Basketball Head Coach and Hall of Fame member Bob Stephenson.

For Canale Arena, we suggest parking in the Central Lot (for your GPS, use 2440 Central Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104). The entrance is in the northeast corner of the building, adjacent to the Boshwit Courtyard.
