Arkadelphia, AR - The Ouachita Baptist Lady Tigers out scored the Christian Brothers University Lady Buccaneer basketball team 39-30 in the second half and CBU fell on the road tonight, 65-55.
CBU (7-5, 0-2 GSC) had a chance to take a one point lead at the half, but the Lady Bucs couldn't get the shot they were looking for and trailed 26-25 at the break.
CBU forced 18 Lady Tiger turnovers in the game and held OBU without a field goal in the final two minutes, but couldn't cut the deficit.
OBU (12-2, 1-2 GSC) shot 41 percent from the field and were led by Kim Beverly with 14 points on 3-4 shooting from long range.
Crystal Shelton scored 21 points and pulled down three rebounds on the night. Mary Shea Hackett had nine points, while Katie Quinton had eight. CBU shot just 57 percent from the free-throw line.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action on Thursday, January 12 when they play host to Arkansas Tech at 5:30 p.m. in Canale Arena.
