Final Stats

MEMPHIS--Patricia Toledo scored two first-half goals to carry No. 12 West Florida to a 4-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Sunday afternoon in Pensacola, Fla.

The Argos (6-2-2, 3-0 GSC) out-shot CBU (6-5, 1-2) 24-4 for the match, including a 10-2 edge in shots on goal.

Toledo scored in the sixth minute, assisted by Mauricia Nicholson, and again in the 31st minute, assisted by Kelly Anne St. Clair.  Marcela Franco scored in the 58th minute, assisted by Jodi Galucci, and Nicholson scored the final goal in the 69th minute, assisted by St. Clair and Naila Owens.

Junior Courtney Robertson (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley HS) took a team-high three shots for the Lady Bucs, while freshman Christina Barone (Phoenix, Ariz./Cactus Shadows HS) made six saves.

The Lady Bucs step out of GSC play Friday when they visit Missouri Baptist at 1 p.m.  They will visit Ouachita Baptist in a GSC match Wednesday, Oct. 11, before returning home Sunday, Oct. 15 to face Harding at 1 p.m.
