Bucs Win Fourth In A Row With 11-2 Win Over Bethel

McKenzie, TN - The Christian Brothers University Buccaneer baseball team won its fourth game in a row, defeating Bethel College 11-2 today on the road.

CBU (17-10) third baseman John Raymond Hehn went 2-6, with four RBIs as the senior added his tenth home run of the season. Charlie Soukup had three hits, including a double, and drove in one, while Andrew Griffy added two of his own. Ryne Dahlke went 2-5 with two runs and an RBI.

John Daush went five innings for his fourth win of the season. He struck out one and allowed just three hits. Carl McKee went two innings, Bobby Daush and Steven Thomas went an inning each.

Bethel moved to 16-13 on the season. Matt Bean had three hits, while Matt Retherford and Scotty Gallahar scored a run each.

The Bucs will be back in action on Saturday, April 1 playing host to Ouachita Baptist in a double-header at noon. Today's game at Hendrix has been mutually cancelled between the two coaches.
