ARKADELPHIA, Ark.--Host Ouachita Baptist swept a Gulf South Conference doubleheader from the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Saturday afternoon, winning 3-0 and 5-0 as they ended the Lady Bucs' season.

Since Ouachita (28-25, 10-15 GSC) was eliminated from the GSC Tournament Friday afternoon when Henderson State defeated Arkansas Tech, the doubleheader that was rained out Thursday will not be made up.

The Lady Bucs finish the season 16-25, with a 5-20 GSC mark.

In the opener, Ouachita pitcher Lisa White (5-5) tossed a one-hit shutout, holding CBU to just a bunt single by Lauren Hearn (Millington, Tenn./Millington HS).

The Lady Tigers scored a run in the fourth on an Ashley Rader single, and a Lauren Western homer in the sixth gave OBU a 3-0 win.

In the second game, a Jeni Maxton homer in the second gave Ouachita pitcher Crystal Robinson (10-2) all the run support she would need, as she and Ariel Adair combined for a three-hit shutout.
