MAGNOLIA, Ark.—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs rolled to a three-set win at Southern Arkansas as they won their second straight road match in Gulf South Conference West Division play.
The Lady Bucs (15-5, 3-1 GSC West) took all three sets by close margins, winning 25-20, 25-21, and 25-23.
Freshman setter
Whitney Weyhrich (Lincoln, Neb./North Star HS) spread the ball around efficiently, collecting 22 assists on 31 CBU kills as the Lady Bucs had three players with at least six kills and six players with at least three. Weyhrich added nine digs, six blocks, and three kills to her assist total.
Michelle Hein (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) led CBU with a dozen digs and five aces, while
Aubrey Pancratz (Chandler, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) had nine kills, nine blocks, and six digs.
Sarah Bell led SAU (7-12, 0-4) with 13 kills, while Mallory McKee recorded a match-high 25 digs.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action Tuesday night when they visit GSC West-leading Arkansas Tech at 7 p.m.
