Lady Bucs Swept at Harding

Kelly Nolan had three aces and nine digs, but the Lady Bucs dropped a three-set decision at first-place Harding Thursday night.

SEARCY, Ark.—First-place Harding swept the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Thursday night in Gulf South Conference West Division action.

The Lady Bisons (16-2, 3-0 GSC West) edged the Lady Bucs (12-9, 1-2) 25-21 and 25-22 in the first two sets before winning the third set, and the match, 25-16.

Logan Westphal (Herndon, Va./Herndon HS) led the Lady Bucs with 10 kills, while Hailey Gillis (Corpus Christi, Texas/Carroll HS) added eight and hit .316. Corinne Doder (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) posted a team-high 11 digs, while Kelly Nolan (St. Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain HS) added nine to her match-best three aces.

The Lady Bucs return to the court Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they host Southern Arkansas.
