ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs moved back to .500 in Gulf South Conference West Division play Tuesday night with a five-set win at Ouachita Baptist.
The Lady Bucs (15-11, 4-4 GSC West) fell behind with a 25-13 loss in the first set, but they answered with a 25-14 win in the second set. A 25-17 win in the third set put the Lady Bucs in control, but Ouachita Baptist (9-18, 1-7) stayed alive with a 25-22 win in the fourth set. The Lady Bucs took the fifth and final set 15-12 for the win.
Logan Westphal (Herndon, Va./Herndon HS) led the Lady Bucs with a career-best 22 kills.
Michelle Hein (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) added 10 kills to her 12 digs, while
Corinne Doder (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) led the Lady Bucs with 13 digs.
Kelsey Green (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy) collected 37 assists.
The Lady Bucs hit the road again this weekend as they visit Southern Arkansas Saturday at 1 p.m. They return home next Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to face Harding.
