MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs swept a three-set match from Southern Arkansas Saturday afternoon as they moved back to .500 in Gulf South Conference West Division play.
The Lady Bucs (13-9, 2-2 GSC West) rolled to a 25-12 win in the first set and never looked back, winning 25-18 and 25-13 in the final two sets over Southern Arkansas (1-23, 0-4).
Logan Westphal (Herndon, Va./Herndon HS) and
Kelly Nolan (St. Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain HS) led the way with nine kills, while
Hanna Orendorff (Renton, Wash./Liberty HS) added eight with two aces and three blocks.
Corinne Doder (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) posted a match-best 11 digs.
Kelsey Green (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy) had 31 assists and three blocks.
The Lady Bucs stay home Tuesday night as they take on Arkansas Tech at 7 p.m.
