ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Host Henderson State swept the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs in three sets Tuesday night in the Gulf South Conference West Division opener for both schools.
The Lady Reddies (5-10, 1-0 GSC West) used 15 kills from Tatiana Kuhn and 18 digs from Bethany Wright to claim a 25-19, 25-13, 25-16 win over the Lady Bucs (11-7, 0-1).
Hanna Orendorff (Renton, Wash./Liberty HS) led the Lady Bucs with eight kills, while
Logan Westphal (Herndon, Va./Herndon HS) added six.
Corinne Doder (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) led the defense with 11 digs, and
Kelly Nolan (St. Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain HS) collected 10.
The Lady Bucs come home Saturday for a tri-match with Ouachita Baptist and West Alabama. The Lady Bucs face OBU in a GSC West match at 1 p.m., followed by OBU against UWA at 3 p.m. The Lady Bucs take on West Alabama in the final match at 5 p.m.
