• CBU threatened to pull away with a 19-4 run bridging the halftime break, giving them a 43-31 lead, their largest of the game, on a Mikaela Blissett (Oran, Mo./Scott County Central HS) layup with 6:42 remaining in the third quarter.
• MC answered with a 12-0 run to tie the game at 43 on an Ashley Minor fastbreak layup with 3:08 remaining in the quarter, and the lead stayed within three points through the end of the quarter.
