NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Senior defender
Crissy Cornacchia (Toronto, Ontario, Birchmount Park) scored her first career goal in the 61st minute to give the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs a 1-0 lead, but Clayton State scored twice in the final 20 minutes as they rallied for a 2-1 win Saturday night at Trevecca Nazarene's Trojan Soccer Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Cornacchia headed in an
Alex Swanson (Memphis, Tenn./Arlington HS) corner kick in the 61st minute to open the game's scoring.
• Manoly Baquerizo scored the equalizer in the 71st minute as she scored on a free kick from just beyond the top of the 18-yard box.
• Clayton State's Marie Durr scored the game-winner in the 83rd minute as she finished off a cross form Maria Marti Bartis.
KEY STATS:
• The teams finished with 10 shots each, as the Lakers (2-0-0) held a 7-5 edge in shots on goal. CSU out-shot the Lady Bucs (0-2-0) 5-0 in the first half, but CBU held a 10-5 edge in the second stanza.

Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made five saves in the game, three in the first half and two in the second half. Jessica Charman made three saves for the Lakers.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs travel to Saint Leo, Fla., next weekend for their final non-conference games of the season. They face Florida Tech Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. before taking on Saint Leo Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Their next home game is Sunday, Sept. 25, when they host Mississippi College.
