CARROLLTON, Ga.-Seven different players scored at least six points, and the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs shot a season-high 57 percent as they won 75-66 at West Georgia Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After a back-and-forth first quarter, the Wolves (7-8, 6-5 GSC) used a 14-5 run to take a 31-26 lead when Jessica Brown sank three straight free throws with one second remaining in the first half.
• The Lady Bucs (10-6, 7-5) used a 20-7 run spanning most of the third quarter to take a 51-42 lead on a
Rafaella Angelidou (Thessaloniki, Greece/Aristoteleio Kollegeio) layup with 1:40 remaining in the third quarter. CBU never allowed the Wolves closer than six points again, and they led by as many as 12 in the final minutes.
KEY STATS:

Courtney Banks (Memphis, Tenn./White Station HS) led the Lady Bucs with 16 points and a season-high eight assists with five rebounds. She finished 6-of-9 overall, including 3-of-4 from three-point range.

Rachel Lee (Jackson, Tenn./Jackson Christian School) scored 14 with five rebounds, three assists and two steals. She shot 4-of-8 overall, making 3-of-5 triples.
• Angelidou scored a career-high 14 points with five rebounds and three assists, shooting 6-of-7 from the floor and making both free throws.
• #Madison Luckett scored nine with three rebounds.

Sara Owen (Dyersburg, Tenn./Dyer County HS) added eight with four assists and three steals.

Makayla Enochs (Finley, Tenn./Dyer County HS) tacked on eight with four rebounds.

Mikaela Blissett (Oran, Mo./Scott County Central HS) added six points.
• Just two days after shooting a season-low 28.3 percent, the Lady Bucs shot 57.4 percent (27-of-47) overall, and their 50 percent (10-of-20) three-point shooting was also a season-high. UWG shot 37.5 percent (21-of-56) for the game, including 26.1 percent (6-of-23) from beyond the arc.
• The Lady Bucs out-rebounded UWG 34-25. The Wolves held an 8-7 edge in offensive boards, and they forced 20 CBU turnovers while committing 12.

The Lady Bucs hit the road again next week, visiting Shorter Thursday night at 5 p.m. to open the second half of the GSC schedule, and they travel to Lee Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. Their next home game is Thursday, Feb. 2, when they host West Georgia.
