SOUTHAVEN-The Christian Brothers University men's tennis team fell to the University of Illiniois-Springfield by the score of 6-3 on Tuesday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  
The Bucs exited doubles down 1-2, with their sole point coming from a win by Lorenzo Maccarini (Curitiba, Brazil/Colegio Saber) and Javier Saez (Concepcion, Chile/Almondole HS) at No.2 Doubles. After losing the first set 4-6, Andres Calzacorta (Caracas, Venezuela/CMSO) fought back to win the second set 7-6 and 10-8 in the third set tiebreaker at No.4. #Atilio Flores# defeated the GLVC's reigning player of the week Sam Clarke in another third set tiebreaker to give the Bucs their final point of the day at No.1.

The Bucs return to play Wednesday to take on GSC opponent North Alabama at 2:00 PM in Southaven.
