SOUTHAVEN-The Christian Brothers University women's tennis team fell to the University of Springfield-Illinois 9-0 on Tuesday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  
UIS gained a 3-0 lead by wins at No.2, No.3, and a narrow 8-6 win at No.1 doubles. Meg Mattis (Cordova, Tenn./Evangelical Christian School) took Kaitlyn Thornhill to a third set tiebreaker at No.4 singles but fell 13-11, completing the sweep for the Prairie Stars.

WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs return to play on Wednesday, when they take on GSC opponent North Alabama at 2:00 PM in Southaven.
