Javier Saez (Concepcion, Chile/Almondole HS) held off his opponent to win by the score of 12-10 in the third set. At No.1 singles, freshman
Lorenzo Maccarini (Curitiba, Brazil/Colegio Saber) also found himself in a decisive third set against the GAC's player of the week, Carlos Crisostomo. However, Maccarini would eventually fall 7-5 in the final set. A Bisons retirement gave the Bucs their only other point of the day at No.1 doubles.
