MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University women's tennis team defeated Blue Mountain 9-0 on Monday. This senior day marked the last home match for seniors Meg Mattis, Melody Mays, Tara McElroy, Brittany Weathersby, and Lauren Woog.

Meg Mattis (Cordova, Tenn./Evangelical Christian School) and
Judit Aubets Macia (Sanauja, Spain/Lluis Peguera Manresa) gave the Lady Bucs their first point of the day blanking their No. 2 doubles opponents 8-0. No. 1 McElroy/Woog and No. 3 Mays/Weathersby completed the sweep of doubles with their respective 8-1, 8-2 victories. In singles, the top four slots fot the Lady Bucs each only dropped a single game in their wins. At No. 5, Melody Mays defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-3, while Brittany Weathersby completed the sweep for the Lady Bucs with her 6-3, 6-1 victory.
WHAT'S NEXT:
Seeking to keep their hopes of making the GSC tournament alive, the Lady will play their remaining matches this season on the road. Beginning Thursday, April 5, they will travel to play GSC opponents West Alabama, West Florida, West Georgia, and Valdosta State.
