PENSACOLA, Florida-The Christian Brothers University women's tennis team defeated West Georgia 6-3 on Saturday in their final GSC match of the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  
In doubles play, the Lady Bucs were able to secure two points with victories at the No. 1 and No. 3 slots, giving them a 2-1 lead after dropping the No. 2 matchup.  At the top end of singles, Tara McElroy (Dunboyne, Ireland/), Lauren Woog (Memphis, Tenn./Homeschooled), and Judit Aubets Macia (Sanauja, Spain/Lluis Peguera Manresa) gave the Lady Bucs three additional points with wins at No. 1, 2, and 3 respectively.  After dropping her first set 4-6, senior Melody Mays (Riverside, Calif./Canyon Springs HS) rallied to win the second set 7-6 and defeated her opponent 10-6 in the third set tiebreaker. 

WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs will now travel to Mobile, Alabama to take on Spring Hill in their final match of the season.
