MEMPHIS - The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs took on conference foe University of West Georgia Saturday afternoon at Canale Arena. The match was filled with back-and-forth scoring runs, but the Wolves of UWG strung together a few more to win the game 3-0.
CBU 0, West Georgia 3 (23-25, 21-25, 23-25)
WHAT HAPPENED: The match was evenly played, but UWG was able to pull away at the end of each hard-fought set to win three straight against the Lady Bucs.
KEY STATS:
- Emma Lenoir led the CBU offense with 15 kills. This brings her career total of kills to 1,659, which is second in CBU history.
- Mollie Wadsworth (10) was the only other CBU athlete to finish with double-digit kills. Alayna Maslinski recorded eight.
- Brooke Hall tallied three service aces in the game. This is the third time this season she has tallied multiple aces in a single match.
- Anna Graziosi led the Bucs in assists with 29. She also made the most out of her attacks as she recorded a .800 attack percentage.
- Madison Spiva, Meredith Hollinger, Wadsworth, and Graziosi were on the successful end of multiple blocks.
