MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University women's soccer team scored a pair of goals in the first half, and added one in the second, in a 3-0 victory over Auburn Montgomery, on a rain soaked pitch at the AUM Soccer Complex. With the victory, the Lady Bucs clinched a spot in the upcoming Gulf South Conference Tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
5' | CBU took a quick lead just four minutes into the match when
Hannah Ward took a pass from
Emily Woods and fired a shot past the goalkeeper.
40' | Six minutes before the half the Lady Bucs doubled their lead on a
Callie Strini goal that was assisted by Ward.
HALF | CBU outshot the Warhawks 9-3 in the first half.
68' | The Lady Bucs scored the final goal of the game when
Bailey Tadlock scored her 10th of the year.
