MARTIN, Tenn. – UT Martin scored a pair of goals in just over six minutes, and held on for a 2-1 victory over the Christian Brothers University women's soccer team, in exhibition action, on Sunday at Skyhawk Field. Preseason All-Gulf South Conference selection
Bailey Tadlock got the Lady Bucs back in the game, with her goal, in the 30th minute.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute on a goal by Jill Hildreth.
- After the Skyhawks made the score 2-0, in the 20th minute, Tadlock made it 2-1.
KEY STATS:
- Riley Chafin made seven first half saves for the Lady Bucs, who were outshot 24-7. Mia Holmes made four stops in the second half.
- CBU had 23 players see action during the game.
- Six different players recorded shots.
UP NEXT:
The Lady Bucs are scheduled to close out their preseason schedule on Friday, Aug. 23 when they travel to Nashville to face Trevecca Nazarene. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
