Willis, Tadlock Shine in 4-1 Victory

MEMPHIS - Bobbie Willis' two goals and Bailey Tadlock's two assists powered the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs to a 4-1 victory against Harding University Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • 15 minutes into the match, Meg Sander buried a shot into the back right corner of the net. The goal came off of a perfect placed pass from Hannah Ward
  • Willis extended the Lady Bucs' lead to 2-0, four minutes later, when Tadlock crossed the ball into the box where she was able to head it just passed the keeper.
  • The Lady Bucs' defense kept the Lady Bisons off the board in the first half as they went into intermission with the 2-0 lead.
  • Six minutes into the second half, Harding was able to march down the field and bring the score to 2-1.
  • Willis lined up for a free kick (61st minute), which was given from a Lady Bisons yellow card, and pounded it into the back of the net to give CBU the 3-1 lead. This goal gave Willis her second goal of the contest.
  • Taylor White scored off a cross from Tadlock, in the 77th minute, which brought the match to its final 4-1 score.
