MEMPHIS - Bailey Tadlock's three assists and two goals was the driving force to the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs 6-1 victory over Spring Hill College, Sunday afternoon at Signaigo Field. Tadlock's three assists is the most by a Lady Bucs' athlete since
Camilla Rodrigues did the same feat in 2014.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Badgers wasted no time as they got on the board first in the 7th minute (0-1).
- Tadlock scorched the equalizer into the back of the net three minutes later, which was perfectly assisted by Meg Sander (1-1).
- Nearing the end of the first half, Ashton White pounded a shot passed the goalkeeper to give CBU the 2-1 advantage.
- With ten seconds left before the half, Tadlock fed Bobbie Willis with a nice pass which ended up in the back of the net. This goal gave the Lady Bucs the 3-1 lead going into halftime.
- In the 63rd minute, freshman Kendall Harris scored her first collegiate goal, which was assisted by Tadlock (2nd of the match) (4-1).
- Tadlock decided to stop the passing for a moment as she scored one for herself (2nd of the match), in the 69th minute (5-1).
- Amanda Dutra ended the scoring of the contest, in the 72nd minute as she headed one into the back of the net. Tadlock assisted on the play (3rd of the match) (6-1).
KEY STATS:
- Tadlock recorded three assists and two goals. Her assists led to three different teammates scoring. This is the fifth time in her career she has recorded multiple assists in a match.
- Five different Lady Bucs recorded a goal.
- The Lady Bucs outshot the Badgers 18-5.
- Tadlock leads the Gulf South Conference with eight assists.
