MEMPHIS – Visiting Lee scored three of its runs with two outs in a 6-1 victory over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Sunday at Bland Field.
With the win, Lee claimed the series 2-1.
FINAL SCORE: LEE 6 (12-6, 3-3 GSC), CBU 1 (9-10, 3-6 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
- Down 3-1 in the third, the Lady Bucs left a pair of runners stranded in scoring position.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Lee finished with an 11-6 advantage in hits. Three of the hits for the Flames were for extra bases.

Elaina McGill led CBU with two hits apiece.

Kendall Westbrooks drove in the lone CBU run.

KEY PLAYS:
- Lee jumped on top with a pair of runs in the first inning, when Brooklyn Frazier recorded a two-out single.
- With the Lady Bucs down 3-1, in the third, Westbrooks hit a sac fly to score McGill. CBU left a pair of runners stranded in the inning.
- The visitors added a pair of runs in the fourth, and finished the scoring with an RBI single in the fifth.
