WHAT HAPPENED: Shorter recorded nine blocks, and held the Lady Bucs to a .088 hitting percentage.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lady Bucs jumped out to an early 6-2 lead, but Shorter fought back to tie the score at 21. The Lady Hawks scored five of the next eight points to win the set 26-24.
- In the second set the match was tied at 13, until the Lady Hawks used a 12-5 run to close the set.
- The Lady Hawks opened the third on a 10-3 run and took advantage of eight CBU errors.
