MEMPHIS - Visiting Mississippi College scored at least one run in all but one inning in a 10-1 (6) win over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Sunday, at Saint Benedict at Auburndale High School.
With the victory, the Lady Choctaws earned the series win.

GAME CHANGER:
MC took advantage of 13 hits, including four apiece from Rayne Minor and Gracie Trahan.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
MC outhit the Lady Bucs 13-4.
The Lady Choctaws took advantage of three CBU miscues.
Josie Bond led the way for CBU, going 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Mackenzie Puckett drove in the lone run of the game for the Lady Bucs.
After earning a complete game victory in game one, CBU starting pitcher
Macy Cumming allowed four runs, on eight hits, in 3.1 innings.
KEY PLAYS:
MC threatened in the first, putting runners on the corners with just one out, but it lined into a double play to end the inning.
Trailing 4-0 in the fourth, CBU got on the scoreboard after an RBI single by
Mackenzie Puckett.
The visitors plated three runs in the fifth and sixth innings to finish the scoring.
