JACKSON, Tenn. - Union used quality pitching and the long ball to sweep a Gulf South Conference doubleheader over the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Saturday, at Fesmire Field.

The Lady Bulldogs hit four home runs in the contest.

Gabby Schultz drove in the last CBU run on sac-fly in the sixth.
Macy Cumming tossed a complete game, allowing five earned runs, on 10 hits, while striking out 11.
KEY PLAYS:
Union got on the board first in the second, as Gabby Morris launched a solo homer to give Union the 1-0 lead.
In the fourth, Union added two more runs to give them a 3-0 lead.
CBU responded in the top of the fifth on a three run homer by
Ashley Dyer to tie the game 3-3.
In the top of the sixth, CBU took a 4-3 lead on a sac-fly.
In the bottom of the seventh, Union tied the game on a lead off homer.
Mackenzi David, in the eighth, launched her second homer of the game, to walk it off for the Lady Bulldogs.

KEY PLAYS:
After a first inning wild-pitch helped CBU open the scoring, Union responded with an RBI single to tie the game at one.
In the second, the Lady Bucs used back-to-back singles to take an early 3-1 lead.
Union opened the third with three straight hits, as it scored three runs and took a 4-3 lead.
Mackenzi David unloaded her third homerun of the day to give the Lady Bulldogs a 5-3 lead.
The Lady Bucs responded with five runs on five hits in the fifth to take an 8-5 lead.
Union scored two runs in the fifth and sixth, as it held on for the 9-8 comeback win.
