ROME, Ga. - The Christian Brothers University volleyball team fell 3-0 to Shorter, on Friday night, at the Winthrop King Centre. The contest marked the season finale for the Lady Bucs.

WHAT HAPPENED:
Shorter hit .208 and took advantage of 19 CBU miscues.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After the first set was tied at 14, the hosts outscored CBU 11-5 to win the opening set.
- Shorter opened the second set on a 7-2 run, but the Lady Bucs responded with a 10-7 spurt that cut the lead to 14-12.
- With the score 18-17, Shorter scored seven of the next 10 points to take the second set.
- Despite the Lady Bucs having a match-high 15 kills, Shorter took advantage of eight errors to win the match.
