HOW IT HAPPENED
  • A Selena Pruitt layup gave the Lady Bucs a 12-11 lead at the midway point of the first quarter. Pruitt had eight of the first 12 CBU points. 
  • The Lady Bucs hit nine of their 16 shots, and used a 12-2 run to take a 24-16 lead to the second quarter. 
  • VSU responded with a big second quarter, outscoring the Lady Bucs 18-4, to take a 34-28 lead into halftime. 
  • The Lady Bucs were held to just 2-8 shooting in the second quarter. 
  • The teams combined for 24 first half turnovers (CBU 13, VSU 11). 
  • VSU shot a scoring 9-12, outscoring the Lady Bucs 30-16, to take a 64-44 lead into the fourth quarter. 
  • CBU outscored the hosts 17-15 in the final quarter to finish the scoring.
