ROME, Ga. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team outscored Shorter 46-38, in the second half, in an 87-78 victory, on Saturday, at Winthrop-King Centre.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Shorter forced six CBU turnovers, and held the Lady Bucs to 5-of-14 shooting to take a 26-13 lead after the first quarter.
- The Lady Bucs stormed back in the second quarter, using a 14-3 run to cut the deficit to 29-27.
- The Lady Bucs took a 41-40 lead into halftime, spured by a 61 percent shooting effort in the second quarter.
- In the third, neither team led by more than five points, as the Lady Bucs took a 60-58 lead into the fourth quarter.
- CBU led by as many as 11 points in the final quarter to earn the road win.
