MEMPHIS - No. 19 West Florida scored nine runs in the third, and seven in the sixth, to earn a 16-3 win over the Christian Brothers University softball team on Sunday afternoon, at Bland Field.
After CBU led 3-0 in the bottom of the first, UWF went on to hit three home runs to help it pull away.

UWF hit three home runs, leading to eight runs.

CBU took advantage of a wild pitch and a pair of UWF miscues to take a 3-0 lead after the first inning.
The Argonauts sent 13 batters to the plate, hitting three home runs, in a nine-run third inning.
UWF finished the scoring with seven runs in the sixth.
