VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Christian Brothers University softball team jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but it wasn't enough, as No. 4 Valdosta State earned a 10-6 come-from-behind victory, on Sunday, at Steel's Diamond.
With the score tied at six, in the bottom of the seventh, Morgan Hill hit a walk off grand slam to win the game for the hosts.

GAME CHANGER:
After the Lady Bucs took a 6-0 lead in the first inning, the Blazers scored 10 unanswered runs to win the contest.

VSU finished with a 10-4 advantage in hits.
Memory Willingham led the Lady Bucs with a pair of hits.
The Lady Bucs earned five walks and five hit by pitch.

Kelsey Wurm did not allow a hit until the fourth inning, when the Blazers used a two-run home run to get on the board.
Trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth, VSU saw five straight batters reach safely, with two outs, to tie the game at six.
With two outs, in the bottom of the seventh, Hill hit a grand slam to end the game.
NOTEABLE:
The 12 runs scored by the Lady Bucs are the second-most allowed by VSU in a Gulf South Conference series this season.
