HOW IT HAPPENED

• A made jumper by Karlee Bates helped give CBU a 10-4 lead at the midway point of the first quarter. 
• MC used a 9-2 run, sparked by a pair of triples, to take a 13-12 lead after the opening quarter. 
• The hosts pulled down seven offensive boards in the quarter. 
• After CBU tied the game at 19, with 5:20 left in the half, MC used a 19-6 run to take a 38-25 lead at the half. 
• MC shot 11-19 in the second quarter, and made five of its 11 first half three pointers.  
• The Choctaws shot 7-14 in the third quarter, while holding CBU to just 3-12 to take a 59-38 lead into the fourth quarter. 
• CBU cut the lead to 70-61, with 2:09 left, but MC finished the game on a 10-2 run to hold on for the win.
