Lady Bucs Finish Season with Win at Shorter

ROME Ga. - The Christian Brothers University women's soccer team closed out its season with a 4-1 win over Shorter, on Sunday afternoon, at Ben Brady Field. Lara Brewis and Hannah Ward had two goals apiece to lead the Lady Bucs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
9' | Lara Brewis opened the scoring when she finished a pass from Niki Farizy.
13' | Brewis scored her second just four minutes later off an assist from Alice Legnedahl
44' | Hannah Ward gave CBU a 3-0 lead, just before halftime, when she scored off an assist from Ana Dutra
HALF | The Lady Bucs dominated play in the opening 45 minutes, as they outshot the hosts 16-0. 
48' | Shorter scored its lone goal of the contest less than four minutes after halftime. 
72' | Ward finished the scoring when she scored off an assist from Mya Gargone

  • The four goals for the Lady Bucs tied a season-high. 
  • CBU finished with 34 shots, including 19 that were on target.
