SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Christian Brothers University women's team dropped a Gulf South Conference contest to West Alabama, on Monday afternoon, at the Southaven Tennis Center.
The defending GSC Champion Tigers won the match 6-1.
CBU was led by No. 1 singles player
Beatriz Costa, who took down two-time First Team All-GSC selection Haina Franco 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. Costa also defeated Mayumi Saguchi of West Florida, who has only lost to a pair of NCAA Division II opponents this season.
