CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Christian Brothers University women's tennis team earned an important Gulf South Conference road victory, as it defeated Delta State 5-2, on Thursday afternoon, at the Cleveland Country Club.

Ellie Hire, and Viktoria Grigoreva did not drop a game in either of their matches, as they cruised to a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles and also at No. 5/6 singles.
With a victory at No. 1 singles, Beatriz Costa improved her singles record to 7-6. Gabriela Marin helped CBU clinch the match with a win at No. 4 singles.
