CARROLLTON, Ga. - West Georgia prevented the Christian Brothers University softball team from earning a Gulf South Conference series sweep, as it claimed a 13-5 (5) win, on Saturday afternoon, at University Field.

GAME CHANGER:
After CBU took a 3-0 lead, in the second, West Georgia scored 13 of the next 15 runs. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Lady Bucs were outhit 17-8. 
• Eight different CBU players recorded hits. 
• Kiera Coulon, Savannah Crockett and Resse Earleywine all had doubles. 
• Crockett had two RBIs. 

KEY PLAYS:
A sac-fly by Earleywine gave CBU a 1-0 lead after one inning. 
CBU took a 3-0 lead, in the second, on the two-RBI double by Crockett.
