MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Lee prevented the Christian Brothers University softball team from earning a Gulf South Conference series win, as it claimed a 9-1 (5) win, on Sunday afternoon, at Bland Field. Following the game CBU honored its six seniors for Senior Day.

GAME CHANGER:
Kylie Bohl hit a fifth inning grand slam to give Lee a 9-0 lead.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Lady Bucs were outhit 9-4.
- Lee starting pitcher Natalie Pruitt was perfect through 3.1 innings.
- Senior Caroline Gross smacked a first pitch home run to put CBU on the board in the fifth. The home run for Gross was her second in as many games.
KEY PLAYS:
The Flames took a 3-0 lead in the second on a hard-hit single down the right field line.
Lee added a pair in the fourth to increase its lead to 5-0.
Bohl finished off the scoring for the Flames with a grand slam in the fifth.
In the fifth, Gross smashed a home run to left field that proved to be the lone run for CBU.
