TOPEKA, Kan. - The Christian Brothers University volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback at No. 17 Washburn, on Thursday afternoon, at Lee Arena. The matched marked the opener for CBU at the Washburn Invite.

FINAL SCORE: 
WU 3 (3-1), CBU 0 (1-4), (25-11, 25-10, 25-9)

WHAT HAPPENED:
The hosts had 42 kills, and finished with a .438 hitting percentage. Wasburn also had 15 aces in the contest. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After the opening set was tied at three, the hosts used a 17-4 run to take control of the set. 
• The Ichabods hit .591 to earn the second set win. 
• Washburn took advantage of eight CBU attack errors to finish the match.

• In her first collegiate match, Addie Waggoner led CBU with four kills. 
• Aileen Zavala helped lead the CBU defense with 11 digs. 
• Jordan Allen and Alma Solis had two blocks.
