Lady Bucs Earn Road Win at Harding

SEARCY, Ark. - Alice Legnedahl scored her first collegiate goal to help give the Christian Brothers University women's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Harding, on Thursday night, at the Stevens Soccer Complex. The victory was also the first for new head coach Julia Osmond.  

FINAL SCORE:
CBU 1 (1-1-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
12' | Harding started out on the front foot, as it took six shots in the first 12 minutes of the contest. 
39' | CBU saw its lone shot of the half saved by Harding goalkeeper Michaela Potter. 
HALF | The Lady Bucs were outshot 8-1 in the first half. 
46' | Harding had one of its best chances of the contest, just moments into the second half, when Whitney Thomas got behind the CBU defense, but saw her shot from close range knocked away by Chloe Hillyer
71' | CBU scored what proved to be the winner when Alice Legnedahl recieved a perfect pass, off of a long free kick, from Sammy Goodrich, and went around the goalkeeper before placing her shot into a wide-open net. 
90' | The CBU defense allowed just one shot following the goal.
