CBU falls to tough SSC opponents in season-opening tournament

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Christian Brothers University women's basketball (0-2) fell to Lynn, 76-62, and Barry, 94-64, in the GSC-SSC Crossover Tournament at Canale Arena on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Lady Bucs showcased a strong first half performance against Lynn before the Fighting Knights surged in the second half to win it. In the second game for CBU, Barry shot nearly 60 percent from the floor and over 50 percent from three-point range to claim the victory.

Game 1: Lynn 76, Christian Brothers 62

Christian Brothers University faced off against Lynn University on Friday afternoon at Canale Arena, ultimately falling short with a final score of 76-62. In a game marked by strong defensive play and some standout individual performances, Christian Brothers kept the game competitive but could not overcome Lynn's second-half surge.
