CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Christian Brothers University softball team earned a doubleheader split with Lee University, on Saturday afternoon, at Butler Field. Lee hit away to win the opener 8-0, but the Lady Bucs fought back to earn a 7-3 win.
GAME ONE: LEE 8 (11-13, 7-6 GSC) CBU 0 (14-16, 7-9 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
The Lady Flames secured a final run in the fifth inning to earn the five inning victory.

The Lady Bucs used a big seventh inning to take back the lead and secure the 7-3 victory.

KEY PLAYS:
CBU opened up the scoring in the third inning with a Kate Candies solo home run, taking the lead 1-0.
The Lady Bucs would add on another run from a Summer Alexander RBI single making it 2-0.
Lee would rally back with three runs to take the lead 3-2.
The Lady Bucs hit big in the seventh inning, scoring 5 runs led by a Mackenzie Bakel 2 RBI single, to take the lead 7-3.
CBU's defense held Lee scoreless in the bottom of the seventh to secure the victory.
