MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Christian Brothers University softball team fell 8-3 to the University of Auburn Montgomery, in game one of the Gulf South Conference series, on Thursday afternoon, at Bland Field.

FINAL SCORE: AUM 8 (25-9, 14-5 GSC) CBU 3 (15-18, 8-11 GSC)

GAME CHANGER:

The Warhawks scored in five consecutive innings to get the win.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

· AUM had an 8-5 advantage in hits.

· Josie Bond led the way going 1-3 with a homerun and two RBIs.

KEY PLAYS:

AUM hit two homeruns in the second to go up 2-0. The Warhawks plated three more in the third and one in the fourth to take a 6-0 lead.

A solo homerun by Gia Martin in the 5th made the score 7-0.
