CLEVELAND, TN. – The Christian Brothers University women's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 regular season on the road Sunday afternoon, falling 2–0 to Lee University at the Ray Conn Sports Complex.

The Lady Bucs battled throughout the match, keeping the Gulf South Conference powerhouse scoreless through the opening half. Goalkeeper Maria Carrico anchored the defense with seven saves on 15 shots faced, keeping CBU in contention until late in the second period.

Lee broke through in the 49th minute when Nora Burton found the back of the net off an assist from Grace Berry. The Flames extended their lead to 2–0 in the 66th minute as Megan Davis capitalized on a feed from Lucy Smith.

Despite being outshot 15–2, the CBU backline held firm under constant pressure. Chloe May, Mack Campbell, and Adilen Velasquez each logged more than 75 minutes of defensive action, while Savanna Mondesir-Singh and Elisa Cruz worked tirelessly in the midfield.
