NASHVILLE - The CBU women's basketball season came to an end Saturday with a 63-45 loss to conference newcomer Trevecca Nazarene. The Lady Bucs struggled from the field hitting just 15 of 61 shots in the loss.
Lamonnie Owens led CBU in scoring with 10 points. Four Lady Bucs played in their final game of their careers.
Chloe Crawford scored nine points,
Jada Hood added seven,
Sophie Roston scored two and Tierney Echols played but didn't score.
With the loss, CBU ends the season with a 1-27 overall record and 1-21 in Gulf South Conference play. The Lady Bucs will return to the court in November to start the 2025-26 season.
