Christian Brothers lost both ends of a doubleheader at Williams Baptist Tuesday. The Lady Bucs fell 4-1 in game one and 5-1 in game two.
GAME 1
Williams Baptist jumped out to a 4-0 lead and thwarted a seventh inning rally by the Lady Bucs. In the seventh,
Haylee Alberson doubled scoring
Kenzie Guess, but CBU couldn't get any other runs across in the loss. The Lady Bucs were limited to two hits. In addition to Alberson's double,
Katelyn Harmon also reached base for CBU. Alberson struck out eight batters in a complete game pitching performance.
GAME 2
CBU pounded out six hits in game two, but produced just one run in the 5-1 loss.
Riley Simpson had two hits to pace the Lady Bucs with Mackenzie Giesler,
Summer Alexander,
Mandie Barrow and
Brynley DeLancey each adding a hit. Alexander's hit was a double.
Christian Brothers returns to Gulf South Conference action this weekend hosting a three game series with Lee.
