CBU defeated Delta State, 5-2, in a Gulf South Conference match to qualify for the Gulf South Conference Men's Tennis Championship for the first time in school history.  The Bucs picked up two wins in doubles and took four of six matches in singles.

The match was highlighted by a great comeback by Ignacio Mora.  Mora trailed 1-6, 2-5, but staged a furious rally winning the second set on a tiebreaker (7-2) and capturing the match in the third, 6-3.

DOUBLES
#1.  Juan Ycaza and Ignacio Mora lost 4-6
#2.  Pedro Gomez and Benjamin Hanriot won 7-5
#3.  Alexandre Randoux and Tristian Kelly won 6-4

SINGLES
#1.  Juan Ycaza lost 1-6, 1-6
#2.  Ignacio Mora won 1-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-3
#3.  Benjamin Hanriot won 6-1, 6-1
