Memphis, TN- Senior Night at Canale Arena marked an emotional evening for Christian Brothers University as the Lady Bucs hosted Trevecca Nazarene University.
Christian Brothers battled early, trailing just 14 to 13 after the first quarter. Junior Emily Sawyer led the way with 15 points on 6 of 8 shooting, while Alice Conrad added eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals in a strong all around effort. Mariah Curley chipped in seven points and five rebounds.
Trevecca pulled away in the second half, earning a 68 to 47 win, but the night was about honoring the seniors and their leadership. The Lady Bucs continued to compete until the final buzzer, closing the game shooting 66.7 percent in the fourth quarter and showing the fight that defined their season.
