Jerden began his tenure with the Tournament Players Club Network in 1988, as the Assistance Tennis Professional at the Tournament Players Club at Southwind. In 1989, Jerden was promoted to Head Tennis Professional at the Tournament Players Club at Piper Glen, and returned to the Tournament Players Club at Southwind that same year.
A certified USPTA Pro1 for over twenty years, Jerden has worked with state, sectional, and national ranked juniors and adults. Jerden is a certified Tournament Director and certified referee, and has served as Tournament Director for the Mississippi Valley Junior and Adult, Memphis City Open Junior and Adult, Cancer Society Benefit Tournaments, Memphis Tennis Association NTRP Tournaments, and for the Tournament Players Club at Southwind Junior Sanctioned Tournaments.
Jerden served on the Memphis Tennis Association Board of Directors, for five years, from 1988 till 1993. Prior to joining the TPC network, Jerden was a Tennis Director with the Memphis Park Commission for eight years.
